Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) called upon Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to follow in his father’s footsteps and fully disclose his finances. Romney thus far has released only one year of his tax returns. His father, George Romney, disclosed twelve years of tax returns during his Presidential bid in the 70s.
“All [Romney] has to do is disclose just like his father did,” noted Van Hollen. “I think the person who wants to be the chief executive and control the finances of the United States should tell the American people how he conducts his own finances.”
