Romney Boils His Campaign Promise Down, Says He’ll Help Families Thrive

During his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention Thursday night, Presidential candidate Mitt Romney charged that President Barack Obama ran with lofty goals, whereas his campaign message boiled down to a simpler theme.

“President Obama promised to begin to slow the rise of the oceans and heal the planet,” Romney quipped. “My promise is to help you and your family.”
