President Obama embraced the Republican term for his healthcare law, Obamacare, taking the nickname instead to indicate that the president pushed forward the legislation because of the fact he cares about the health of Americans.
“I think we need to keep moving forward with the new healthcare law. It is cutting costs, it is covering more people, it is saving lives,” Obama said. “They like to call it Obamacare. Well let me tell you, I do care.”
