The Obama campaign released a video Thursday highlighting the media’s scrutiny of Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan’s speech before the Republican convention Wednesday evening.
The two minute long video splices portion of the speech followed by television clips of reporters from various news outlets pointing out inaccuracies.
“Every journalist is getting a lot of emails right now pointing out to what they claim are falsehoods, misleading statements, lies if you will, that were made by Paul Ryan
The video then goes on to depict the media’s reaction to Ryan’s claim that health care reform will cut Medicare by $716 billion and a story about the closure of a Janesville auto plant that Ryan’s speech appeared to blame on President Obama, even though the plant shut down in the waning days of the Bush administration.
