Second Night Of GOP Convention To Highlight Santorum, Jindal, Christie

Republican Party officials announced Tuesday that the second night of the party’s nominating convention in Tampa, Florida will be structured around the theme “We Built It.”

Following President Obama’s remarks to supporters at a rally in Virginia last month that “if you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that,” the phrase has taken on a prominent role in the campaign of presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

According to Republican Convention CEO Wiliam Harris, “Tuesday’s program will highlight America’s entrepreneurial strength and our people’s incomparable work ethic.”

Several prominent figures from the presidential race and leftovers from the vice presidential rumor mill are slated to speak on the convention’s second night, including Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal and Chris Christie, who will give the keynote address.
