Why Would Republicans Let Sick Americans Die?

The Republican Party claims to represent religious America. But when it comes to healthcare – the two couldn’t be farther apart.

As the Supreme Court gets ready to hear arguments on Obamacare – a broad coalition of religious groups in America filed a friend-of-the-court brief with the high court in support of Obamacare.

From Methodists to Presbyterians to Catholics – several different denominations are represented in the brief – putting them at odds with nearly every single Republican in Congress and on the campaign trail who have vowed to repeal the President’ health reform law.

Considering that the bible calls for the weak and needy to be rescued – and the Pope recently declared healthcare was a “inalienable right” – it’s no surprise that religious organizations are lining up in favor of Obamacare.

What is surprising – and tragic – is that Republicans would rather let sick Americans die than give President Obama a legislative victory.

    I paid for my comprenshensive medical plan when I left actvive duty as a responsibility to my family (who wouldnt go broke trying to save me from a catastrophy while unemployer) It was major medical protection and was great protection. . My cousin who saw little reason at the age of 25 to buy health care plan as a contract only chef. Brakes a leg an goes into d$10000 debt. Blames republicans that he is in debt. Do you guys ever preach anything about taking responsibility for yourself?. It will never happen. I asked my other cousn, a well respected college professor but on the left side of left, if all his students in his class could get A’s if you they all learned the objectives of the course. He stated it was possible but highly unlikely. I asked him why. He stated the obvious, some werent as skilled, and some didnt put in the effort. So i asked him why he didnt just take points from his A students and give them to his D students so that you insured everybody got a passing grade, and no one excelled. He was flabergasted at the thought. My professor cousin likes to motivate his geology students to excell, great I ask why does he motivate them, so they can do well in the outside world. Like with Oil companies I ask? Aghast again.

    Did you happen to see what Joe Biden gave to Charity last year? I gave that much when i had a $30000 a year job in the Air Force.

    I will gladly let match charity hours and charity giving with you and we will see who is the compasionate one. Your rhetoric is really disgusting but very typical of the looney left!

    Talk about the rich al the time, but do you ever means test the so called poor. What they drive, their cell phones, flat screen tvs, etc. How about a comprehensive heath care plan with a health savings account. They are great deals.
