In a press conference at the National Press Club(NPC) in Washington, a panel of activists and humanitarians stressed the imperative need for support in Syria from the international community. The Syrian activists called for a “no-fly zone” over Syria after an ugly train of attacks on civilian villages carried out by the Syrian government in the last few weeks.
Rafif Jouejati, a representative of the organization Free Syria told reporters during a press conference in D.C. Firday that Russia currently supplies the Syrian government with not only weapons and other military equipment, but also with parts for attack helicopters.
