D.C. Protestors Rally For Lower Health Care Costs



In Washington D.C. today, human rights advocates protested for a better U.S. health care system outside the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

It is unfortunate that so many don't see access to health care as a human rights issue. While we can argue whether health care is right to be enshrined in laws directly, the more relevant point is whether people can reasonably access it even if they don't have a lot of money. Being healthy should not be tied simply to one's financial successes in life.
