Both President Obama and GOP nominee Mitt Romney are taking a few days off from campaigning this week to relax and enjoy the July 4th holiday.
Obama is spending Monday and part of Tuesday at the Camp David, Md. presidential retreat. Romney, meanwhile, is spending the week with his family at their vacation compound on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.
On Wednesday, Obama will return to the White House, where he and First Lady Michelle Obama will host an Independence Day celebration on the South Lawn for military heroes and their families. Then on Thursday, he’ll resume his campaign by embarking on a two-day bus tour through battleground states Ohio and Pennsylvania.
